I've been creating art since I can remember. My mum and nanny used to make up little arts and crafts projects to do together every afternoon and throughout my school carrier I was known as “the one who draws well”. I went to Art School and although I shifted to pursuing a carrier in graphic design for some time, I've always been drawing and painting on the side and I've always loved the idea of being able to just induce an emotion through something that I created from scratch.
I went vegan overnight in May 2012 after stumbling upon a famous speech about veganism on the Internet. I instanly felt passionate about animal rights but four years went on and it never crossed my mind to use my skills as an artist to spread the vegan message. Again by chance, in 2016 I came across the Art of Compassion Project, an international collective of vegan artists from all around the World that collaborate on art projects in support of vegan non-profit organisations. Amazed by the beautiful art and great causes that the Project supports, I immediately joined and soon started to create my first piece. Although I had been doing other forms of activism during the years, me being a real introvert, it felt like I had finally found the channel where I could really give my best and be more effective.
So this is my mission now: using art to raise awareness on our conflicted relationship with animals and share it with the World.
If you're a non-vegan, I hope my art can make you see animals as individuals, make you question your habits and the setting of our society and wonder why we love some animals and carelessly enslave and kill others when don't need to. If you're a vegan, I hope my work can be of inspiration to you, of support when you're feeling hopeless, of motivation to keep on fighting for the animals and get active in your own way.
Whether you're here to buy a print or just to have a look, I thank you for your support and I hope I was able to induce an emotion in you.
I'm always interested in taking in a new project, so please feel free to get in touch through the 'Contact' page or through my social media for any question.
